[She likes when people like her, even if she's just teasing this way. A diva through and through, even if she understands that she doesn't have her reputation here to help her this time. It's both frustrating and refreshing, discouraging but exciting. It's a feeling she enjoys.]

[ Nami manages to continue to sound aloof, but there's an amused look on her face that she fights to tamp down, more than enjoying getting to toss an overtly flirty comment back at Astra and briefly turn the tables. ]

[Her personality reminds her a little of Evelyn, and maybe that's why she's fond of her. Evelyn was rather cold at the start, shy and awkward. Although Nami was none of those, she recognizes one thing they had in common-- a heart that seemed to be afraid but kind.]

Of course, if you're already in love with someone else, I can step aside. I think it's great for people to feel love in such a situation.

Already in love? [ This is not the kind of thing she was prepared to talk about, and it's clear from the startled look Nami gives Astra she's been caught totally off-guard. ]

Maybe sometimes. [ She isn't good at this. ] Can't I be in love with more than one person? [ She shakes the wedding dress out and sets it down on the sand in front of the small cave, gesturing at the spot beside her. ]

Am I misunderstanding? I thought that was the reason for the dress.

[She must have wanted to marry someone, or was about to marry someone. Oh, she wasn't forced, was she?]

You can fall for as many people as you want! I think. Well, I don't really know the rules here.

[ Looking down at the dress she's now sitting in the sand on, Nami shakes her head. ] I've never seen this thing before in my life. Maybe it's from the future. [ Then, with a grin. ]

Maybe it's our wedding.

[ Pausing, she smirks at Astra and cocks her head to the side. ]

Maybe not. I get the feeling this kind of dress is too plain for that.

Is it? Do you like your dresses to be more elaborate?

[She definitely does, but she's still trying to understand how Nami thinks. Best way to do that is to ask, even as she clasps her hands together.]

A wedding for us! You're such a smooth talker. I'll have to think about it.

I don't know about elaborate, but, shorter, or at least more revealing.

[ Considering that she's been conversing casually in her bra and panties ever since that dress came off, it's clear Nami has no issue with showing some skin. ]

Better tell me more about you, too. I like having an excuse to get a new dress, but I don't think I'd marry a stranger.

[She has been called queen before, but she probably does not mean it in the same context as the media or her fans. Still, it's a flattering assumption, considering her persona.]

[ That's a word she knows, and while hearing it will always make her want to roll her eyes fondly, for Astra she just nods in understanding. ]
