[ Nami watches Rinne from the corner of her eye, she lets him take his shot before glancing towards him with a playful shake of her head. ]

You gotta let the ball roll off your fingertips when you shoot it.

[ Which is what she does with her last ball, hitting the 1000 again with a smug huff of victory. ]

You don't want to know how many chips I've lost figuring out how to hit that thing.

Kyaha~ Sure, sure. We'll make it our next date.

[They were a bit too heavy to carry around on a day-to-day basis after all. He rolls the ball in his hand for a moment, trying to test the feel of it over his palm, the length of his fingers, before the tips... It wasn't too hard to do, at least.]

[He's going to try again. It's closer this time, but still ends up falling over to the other side at the bounce.]

[ Both teaching her a new game she can gamble with, and a second date. She counts her tickets and looks up just in time to watch Rinne's ball go off course at the last minute. ]

You gotta– [ Heading over to Rinne after pocketing her tickets, Nami's hand slides to his, covering the back of it with her palm as she guides it back and out again, her front leaning into his side a little more than it needs to while she walks him through the mock shot, an incidental byproduct of how familiar he feels to her after all these months. ] Like this.

[He teases, but it's with fond exasperation, clearly not bothered. He did, after all, immediately relax into her touch so she can lead his hand, let him get the point that he'd been aiming for this whole time.]

Ya sure you were ever bad at this? Yer so natural~

[ Nami briefly lets her chin settle on Rinne's shoulder, a passing show of fondness before she pulls away, her eyes flicking towards a skee-ball shaped scuff mark in the wall beside the lane she's been playing at. ]

You missed my first attempts. [ She smirks, tilting her head towards the mark before looking back to him. ]

Besides, isn't showing off part of the whole, date thing? I'm supposed to impress you, or something, right?

[ Like she knows anything about what happens on dates. ]

And here I thought that was my job. Well, if ya wanna sweep me off my feet, I ain't complainin'.

[He lets the timer run anyway while he speaks in a teasing manner, especially when it starts to make noises a few seconds later, signaling his obvious loss to her.]

Looks like yer still the grand champion, Nami-chan~

Maybe I do. [ Reaching down to tear off his tickets, she holds them out for him to take. ] But that doesn't mean you can slack off from sweeping me off mine.

[ Taking a step back, she cocks her head towards towards one of the ticket exchange booths. ]

Come on, I gotta get you your prize. Make sure you're swept or whatever.

[ Whether she's sincerely trying to brush the notion off, or not, the grin lurking at the corners of her mouth reveal just how pleased with herself she is. ]

What game are we playing next, dream date?

Ever played basketball?

[Since, you know, he still had to focus on games that had tickets so he can win her a prize.]

It's that one over there with the hoops. Best score wins?

Nope. Your turn to show me.

[ Which, she doesn't mind, come to think of it, secretly charmed by the idea of taking turns showing off with him for the rest of the night. ]

Meet you over there.

[ Nami's got to take a detour, swapping out her tickets for an alarminglyon point looking prize, before she finds Rinne by the basketball machines, holding her winnings out for him to take with a quietly proud smirk on her face. ]

[He's not turning in his tickets yet, so he doesn't complain when she goes off, already heading to the machine so he can grab one of the basketballs and toss it up a few times to test its weight. Someone probably forgot to toss it back in, because there were no other balls present. Once she's back, he takes one look at the cat and laughs.]

Looks just like ya! How cute.

[He shows her the ball, grinning.]

This one's a little easier. Yer goal is to toss as many of these into that hoop over there before the buzzer. Wanna try it?

You can look at it when you miss me.

[ She takes the basketball off him, tossing it idly in her hands as Rinne points out the hoop and explains how basketball works. It's not a game she's ever seen played before, and rather than look foolish, Nami tosses the ball back to Rinne. ]

Show me how it's done, dream date.

Kyaha~ All right, I'll do one round on my own, then we do a match.

[Starting a new game then.

Because enstars has bullshit skill progression though, he's gonna be pretty amazing at hitting those hoops. Not always-- some balls bounce off and he curses for those, but he doesn't stop until no more balls are rolling down for him to pick up.

He grins at her when it's done, taking the tickets and pocketing it for later.]

Whaddya think? Doable?

[ Crossing her arms comfortably over her chest, Nami hangs back and watches Rinne play, sizing up the way he moves to shoot the ball and the fact that more times than not, his efforts very clearly pay off. It's not the kind of skill game she's going to be instantly flawless at, and Nami's already prepared to lose, but, she'll give it a shot. ]

Doable. [ As comfortable as she is with not winning this round, she's still got her game face on, even though after she gives him an almost serious-looking nod, Nami follows it up with a small, but sincere grin.

She's not going to let herself dwell on the thought that she doesn't mind looking like an idiot in front of Rinne, which is good, because once it's her turn, she misses every shot but one. ]

I guess you have this and I'll have skee-ball.

That last shot was good though. Ya managed to find a position that works for ya.

[He says cheerfully, focusing on praise rather than teasing in this case. She wasn't gonna get it immediately, but even one can be hard if you're not used to it and that's how he sees it.

He'll take his new stack of tickets, pocketing it for now.]

One all then. Ya want a tiebreaker? Coz I got a game ya might like~ Even if it's got no tickets.

[ The unexpected praise leaves her grinning, a surprised laugh escaping her before she reaches out to take his arm, waiting to settle against his side until after he pockets his tickets. ]

Come on then. Let's see what you have in mind.

[He shuffles behind her, reaching up to cover her eyes with both hands, grinning.]

It's a secret~ Just follow my lead.

[It's not a big secret, not when it's so close but-- it's air hockey. He is leading her to the air hockey table.]

[ Naturally, she has never seen an air hockey table before, but some things – two goals at opposite ends of an arcade-sized pitch – are a common set up for any game, regardless of universe. Nami figures it out quickly enough to laugh after Rinne lifts his hands from her eyes to reveal the surprise final round. ]

We defend our goals, right?

[ Nami's hand covers the pusher, experimentally guiding it around the table close to her goal after she takes her side. ]

You're going down, Amagi.

Kyaha~ So ya already know the game. That makes it easy.

[Going down, is he?]

I like yer fightin' spirit. Ya better back it up, coz I ain't goin' easy.

[And he won't. The question is, who will win through sheer determination and not due to flying puck?]
