[ There's a nervous, vulnerable softness fluttering her chest, a feeling that finds itself mirrored almost perfectly by the bashfulness in Basch's smile. With the influence of her suit fading into the background, that old defensiveness flares quietly in the back of her mind, but in the wake of what they've shared, Nami finds herself pushing past it without so much as a second thought.

Nami slides her hand into his and shifts close enough to let her front press snugly to his side. She props her head on her hand and lets her eyes sweep over his face, feeling heat rise to her own. ]

That was something. [ And just how dazed and happy its left her radiates out of her, softening all her edges. ] Basch– [ Nami starts before cutting herself off when she leans in to kiss him rather than speak. ]

[ There's such a relief when she doesn't pull away. He hardly has time to process it before its overshadowed by the joy and warmth of her shifting into him, her face looking as dazed as he feels.

If she hadn't kissed him, he would have kissed her. His arms go around her, pulling her close and protected, and its easy minutes of soft, sturdy kisses before he pulls back to nuzzle her nose, breathing deep and slow in the beach sunshine. ]

Nami [ he agrees, breathless and happy. And then, softly, ] You have me always.
